When the install fails

"App not installed." Usually an unfinished older copy. Uninstall any previous version, restart the phone, and install again. Restarting matters more than it sounds.

"Installation failed" with no reason given. Free storage, nearly always. Clear space and retry.

It installs, then closes at launch. Clear the app's cache in Settings, then reopen. If it closes twice, uninstall it and use the browser; a build that crashes on launch will not be fixed by reinstalling the same file.

On an iPhone

There is generally no App Store listing for apps of this type, and anything claiming to be one deserves suspicion. The workable route is the browser: open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. You get an icon that launches directly into the lobby, no install, no storage cost. Some builds also offer a configuration-profile install; it is not worth accepting for a game lobby.

Home-screen shortcut versus installed app

The shortcut route is genuinely good enough for most players.
